Yes its the Australiaa Day, marking the arrival of First Fleet of British ships at Port Jackson, New South Wales and the raising of the Flag of Great Britain at Sydney Cove by Governor Arthur Phillip on 26th January 1778.  The day also marks the remarkable journey of this astonishing country from being an abandoned land to one of the most prosperous and growing economies of the modern day world.
